She keeps close to her

As Annette’s dementia progresses she is spending more time caring for and interacting with her dog Orla.
She fusses over her in the mornings and at night when she puts her to bed.

This is Orla ready to go out for a car trip. Orla loves playing ball and even though Annette cannot throw the ball very far they have lots of fun together.

This is Annette at the salon getting her haircut with Orla watching closely.

Orla seems to understand that Annette needs more assistance and she keeps close to her and looks for pats and cuddles from her.

Annette loves Orla and reminds me often of this during the day. We are most appreciative of all who have made it possible for us to have an assistance dog to share our lives.
